This information is designed to assist you in understanding PDAC.


If you are a new athlete just starting athletics then you will gain maximum benefit by reading the contents of our information booklet.  If you are an experienced athlete then you will, in all probability, be aware of most of what is contained therein, however, there is information that will also be of benefit to you so please read the booklet.


PDAC has been in existence for 35 years. It is an athletic club based on a written constitution that governs the election of office bearers and committee members from amongst the membership. An annual general meeting is held yearly during the month of September. PDAC falls under the jurisdiction of Kwa-Zulu Natal Athletics (KZNA) which in turn answers to Athletics South Africa (ASA).


Pinetown and Districts Athletic Club is situated within Lahee Park, Pinetown, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.


PDAC has a proud history of producing provincial, national and international athletes, some of whom have represented South Africa at the Olympic Games.


We are involved in the following Disciplines:


           Cross Country,

           Race Walking

           Time Trial Leagues

           Masters Association athletics.


Athletes of all standards from beginners to provincial and national class athletes. We pride ourselves on having fun and enjoying the sport.
